Ulmus

Hm, nun überlege ich schon die ganze Zeit, ob ich den Ulmus von Kirsten Kapur in Größe M oder L stricke… Ich stricke das Tuch mit Nadelgröße 3,75 mm und dem Louet Gems Garn in der Farbe Citrus Orange und Caribbean Blue . Ich habe ungespannt eine Länge (Mitte) von 41 cm und eine Spannweite von 86 cm, wo noch die Bordüre hinzukommt. Bis jetzt habe ich pro Farbe 46 Gramm gebraucht.

Aber ich sehe schon, dass ich wohl gierig bin und bei der großen Größe landen werde. Ich glaube, ich werde das Tuch nicht übermäßig spannen, da mir die Struktur so ganz gut gefällt. Außerdem bekommt das Tuch je nach Blickwinkel eine unterschiedliche Farbenintensität, was man am letzten Bild ganz gut sehen kann.

Hmm, I can’t decide whether I  knit the M or L size of the Ulmus by Kirsten Kapur. I knit the shawl in needle size 3.75 mm with Louet Gems in the color Citrus Orange and Caribbean Blue. The current size from center back to bottom point is 41 cm, unblocked and without the border. The measurement across top edge is 86 cm. Until now I have used of each color 46 gramm.

I think I am greedy and go for the L size and it is a fun project. Maybe I will block the shawl not to heavy. I like the change of colors and structure when light and point of view is different (you can see that in the last picture).
